SPORTOVNI HALA.

1995/6 Were My First Visits to Praha. About This Time. Started Supporting H C Sparta Praha. Loved Holesovice. Area Had a Working Class, Down To Earth Feel. Very Like My Sheffield Roots. From Eating at Places Like Bohemia Bagel, or The Cross Club. To Pivo at the Klasterni Pivnice. Taking the Walk from Nadrazi Holesovice. Through the Streets. Building Up the Atmosphere. Attending the Sparta Gift Shop. Amazed at the Sparta Trophy Cabinet. Eating Palek, if not Eaten Before. Then there are the H C Sparta Praha Supporters. The Best in The World. The Cheer Leaders, What Can You Say !. The Arena. Which Has Tradition, History, Even a Mystic Feel. My First Game. Just Blow Me Away ! Was Hooked From Then On. Now The News Has Come. September 1 ST. May Be the Last Game Played There. Ano, We are Moving to the O2 Arena. Which is Modern & New. True We Will Probably Get Used to it. However It Will Never Capture the Heart & Soul Of Holesovice. Slavia Were Relagated. If Not Would We Still Be Sharing ?. Would Money Be the Main Consideration. Would the Fans Matter ?. Another Positive for Me with the O2. Would Be the Closeness of My Favourite Bar. Bar Napalme, Na Zertvach. There My Positives End. My Next Match Will be the H C Sparta Praha Game v Mountfield. League Game at the O2 Arena. Will Eat & Drink in Holesovice. Before Travelling to the O2. Slavia will be Up for Our Last Game. In the Arena. What a Tragedy if Slavia Won !. Does Not Bear Thinking Of !. Know One Thing. Ano, the Stadium May Close. Or Get Knocked Down. But Nobody Can Take My Great Memory,s Away. Of the Matchs & Times. At the Tipsport Arena. Once Known as the Sportovni Hala. Opening in 1962.
